Determining the soil composition with the highest possible resolution helps to reduce the harmful effects on the environment and human health. In the doctoral thesis I approached in an original way topics related to the synthesis of optoelectronic systems for the analysis of soil properties based on spectrometry, soil sensor systems, GPS, various command and control systems, suitable for the objective (arduino, rasberry PI, microcontroller MicroChip and NI myRIO from National Instruments), databases, computer programs and numerical simulations. Thus, I analyzed the principles of spectrophotometry, I studied the architecture and operation of spectrophotometers appropriate to the topic addressed as well as a series of necessary sensors. Based on the analysis I established architectures and structures for the synthesis of optoelectronic systems for determining soil properties. I performed experimental determinations of soil sample spectra and processed the acquired data to determine soil properties. Based on the experimental results and numerical simulations I developed methods / techniques / algorithms / programs for identifying components of the soil samples studied. I developed a program to determine the need for nutrients for an agricultural crop and a location where the properties of the soil were determined. I designed 3 new systems (patent applications): multi-functional section for reading soil parameters, intelligent soil sampling device, device for driving soil scanning platforms.
